This reminds me of a detective's office for some reason, or a mystery.

I love gas stoves/ovens

The self image binge.
To my hubby:
Please keep telling me I don't need it,
because it's hard to believe you when the cold hard facts stare back at me in the mirror.

m.147

5-23-11
This was the beginning of my "beauty products"/self image photo binge.

m.146

5-22-11
Yep. Still one of my favorite songs. Ever.

Oh, technology - what have you done to us?

Today. That means I'm all caught up!
Whoofda....no more getting behind, and I mean it.
ps no hatin' on the puppy pics; I thought I'd be doing a lot more than I have been :)

A lot of things you can learn from this photo:
1) We still keep our books on the floor under the bed, even with bookshelves
2) I read a lot more than Adam
3) While we are not planning on "dumping the dog," he is a "Hard-to-train dog," who needs some extra special care because he is sooooo timid
4) I love Cesar, but who doesn't?
5) I'm busting out the sewing machine, my Christmas present from Ma Harrison
6) I'm continuously trying to learn more about photography, as Adam is continuously learning more about computers
7) We love the library.

Are you noticing a theme yet?
The simple joys of feeling "moved in"

A gift from Whit B - something her mom always said to us (her kids) as we walked out the door for school in the morning.

m.133

This is the "winding down" of the mess that erupted when all of our stuff from Hawaii finally came.
Yay shower curtain hangers (so we don't have to use clothes hangers anymore)!
Yay bookshelves (so they don't have to lie in piles under the bed anymore)!
Yay silverware (so we don't have to use plastic utensils anymore)!

m.132

My favorite boys. :)

H.115

21 April 2011
The Bern LDS Temple is where my parents were married 25 years ago .
The trees are on top of Mt. Gurten.

20 April 2011
An 8 hour travel day. Lake Geneve?

H.113

19 April 2011
Same place as [here], high above the city.
Nice, France

18 April 2011
REGARDEZ-VOUS!
Château D'If

H.111

17 April 2011
We do not like being on trains we knew weren't supposed to be on. But eating delicious macaroons took my mind off of it for a few seconds.

H.110

16 April 2011
"Days we were supposed to be somewhere else"
You'd think in a coastal town, they'd know about tides. Surely it can't be good for a boat to shore like that.

H.109

15 April 2011
That sunset was so good, you get it twice.

H.108

14 April 2011
Our biggest (pleasant) surprise of Paris, the enormity of the Eiffel Tower! (please click for bigger)

H.107

13 April 2011
Flying to Paris! The adventure false-started with a two and a half hour delay in the airport, but it was so absolutely beyond worth it to see M, oh yeah and Europe.

H.106

12 April 2011
I had the unique experience of seeing where some of my earliest known ancestors lived. Ann Waldo Cox was born in Steeple Ashton, England about 1608. She died in Massachusetts.

Self-touring Reading town center (centre)

Sunday, 10 April 2011
The BF's family had a visitor over for dinner, and we took them to this quaint little village. My camera was dead. So here you get a picture of the Thames outside the restaurant we ate at the night before.

H.103

9 April 2011
Avebury, home of the Great Henge. The BF also told me that he was glad I was being touristy, because he got to see things he hadn't even though he lives close (isn't that how it always works though?)

H.102

8 April 2011
Picnic with the infamous Reading Boys

H.101

7 April 2011
Train Station heading to the BF's house in Reading.

Engagement, Wedding, Now

m.123

He surprised me with a king-sized bed.
Seriously cannot believe he did that.
The next few days were lazy ones :)

m.122

I cannot tell you how GOOD it felt to get this thing off my neck.
I was obsessed with it during my trip. It literally became a part of me; I thought I wasn't wearing pants the one day I left it at the hotel with Sheri. I checked to make sure my passport was still in it every 15 minutes.
And just feeling it wasn't enough. I developed an OCD paranoia where I had to literally take my passport out, open it up to make sure it was still mine and that someone hadn't managed to switch mine with theirs for some strange reason.

m.121

4-27-11
Waiting for me at the airport, holding these.
Yep. It's official. I love him.

m.120

4-26-11
It was supposed to be a day with the Cooks and an evening with Shakespeare,
but somehow the two got combined :)

m.119

4-25-11
Arriving late at the London, England temple.
Ending this trip the same way I started it.

m.118
